EMR Second Harmonic Filters are effective at suppressing IM products at the output port of an isolator, where weak harmonics of the input signal frequency are present. This is usually a result of ferrite impurities in the isolators. These units apply a minimum of 40 dB suppression of 2nd harmonics, effectively keeping all IM products to at least 100 dB down.
